Some exciting news to finally share — a new salon home for the LC Balayage experience!

Hello!

Hello everyone, and happy October! Hope you are all bundling up warm and staying cozy in this chilly weather. I’m so happy to be sharing lots of news this month with you.

Moving to Sisters Salon

I’m now officially a hairstylist at Sisters Salon in Sloane Square, and it’s been such an exciting new chapter for me so far. After nine years at my old salon in Vauxhall, I felt like it was time for a change in my professional life. I’m someone who loves routine and generally avoids change, but I knew it was important to embrace the challenge of moving somewhere new to expand my work, take on more responsibility, and fulfil my goals in doing so.

This is your reminder to not back down from change, but see it as a necessary part of growth. There will always be short-term discomfort, but staying where you are when you know there is room to grow will only hold you back. Since joining Sisters, I’ve been overwhelmed by the love and support, and it makes me so excited to meet my regular and amazing clients and new clients too and bring the magic of the LC balayage to Chelsea.

Being located in a salon on the Kings Road has been a fabulous change. It’s such a friendly, lively, and vibrant neighbourhood, and I love that it’s residential, so people who live nearby pop into the salon for their usual treatments. It also has the most wonderful natural light, which is perfect for the before-and-after photos I take for Instagram! If you’d like to come visit me in the new salon, book in with me directly through this link , on Instagram, or through this website.

Welcoming autumn with my favourite traditions

The days are drawing in, all the coffee shops are offering seasonal pumpkin spiced drinks, and I’m so excited to decorate my home with all the cute autumnal decor that makes this time of year so delightful! I adore these cute little pumpkins, which would look lovely on a mantelpiece or on a shelf. This pampas grass is also a great pick to bring the colours of fall foliage into your home. Finally, if you’re planning to welcome trick or treaters to your doorstep on Halloween, why not do so with the help of this spooky decoration?

New season, new haircare products

Now that the temperatures are dropping, it’s all the more important to protect your skin and hair from the harsher, drier elements. Consider investing in some gorgeous hair oils to keep things lustrous and moist:

Mielle Rosemary Mint Scalp and Hair Strengthening Oil (£9.70) - this biotin-infused essential oil blend is the intensive formula you need to smooth split ends and nourish your dried scalp.

Kérastase Elixir Ultime L'Huile Rose (£42.38) - I’m obsessed with the pretty, rosy colour of this product, and its ingredients pack a punch as well. With Marula oil, Camellia oil and Imperial Tea extract, it makes hair silky soft and frizz free. Plus, it offers heat protection up to 230 degrees.

Fable and Mane HoliRoots Pre-Wash Strengthening Treatment Hair Oil (£12.40) - if you’re struggling with hair fall this season, look no further than this strengthening hair oil fortified with ashwagandha, castor oil and holistic plant roots. It’s got a stunning floral, spicy fragrance, and is designed to leave on before a hair wash for between 5 minutes to overnight.

That’s all from me this month — enjoy the rest of October!

XOXO
