Coachella hair + fashion inspo, and updated hair product heroes

Hello!

Hope you’ve had a great month so far! This April, we’re diving straight into the colourful world of Coachella, where all our favourite celebrities and influencers dressed up to embrace the sunshine and party all day and night. I picked up loads of inspiration for fashion and styling from the pictures, so read on to discover which looks I loved.

It’s been a while since I last shared a big update of all the hero products I’m loving for hair care and treatment, so below you’ll find a list of the best intensive treatments for damaged hair, hair mists and serums to restore shine and health to your tresses.

Top Coachella hair and fashion picks

If you’re anything like me, you’ve been following the stars and influencers flock to Coachella for a sun-drenched weekend of live music, epic outfits, and classic California vibes. I’ve loved seeing all the live updates on Instagram, and catching up on the best street style spotted by accounts like @coachellaoutfits2023 and publications like Who What Wear and Vogue.

Without further ado, here’s my roundup of spring-summer inspiration from Coachella:

Obsessed with Camila Coelho’s slinky top and tousled beach waves. Such an effortless vibe!

Actress Karrueche Tran rocked a maxi dress and an updo with lightly tinted sunglasses: an easy summer look that would work with sandals instead of statement platforms too.

Journalist Amelia Dimoldenberg looked radiant with cascading curls and cowboy boots.

Leonie Hanne was an absolute vision in this bejeweled, barely-there dress. Simple, slicked back hair kept the focus on the Area outfit.

Hero Hair Products

I’ve been loving serums for the spring: whether you’re rocking a slicked-back look and leaving a hair mask in, or letting your hair loose in natural waves, you can always incorporate a little bit of serum into your hair routine for that little bit of extra TLC. Why not try:

Guerlain Abeille Royale Scalp and Hair Youth-Oil-In Serum (£115), with Dynamic Blackbee Repair technology and black bee honey. It promises to boost the scalp's vitality and visibly thicken hair, and can be used daily on dry or damp hair.

Moroccanoil Treatment (£25) is insanely luxurious yet ultra-light, leaves hair with a silky finish, and smells amazing. This 25ml size is also perfect for travel.

OUAI Hair Oil (£26) smooths frizz and split-ends with a nourishing formulation of African Galanga, Ama and Asian Borage oils. ● Vegamour GRO Hair Serum (£64) is a cruelty-free, vegan serum that promotes hair thickness, reduces hair fall, and supports scalp health.

Vegamour GRO Hair Serum (£64) is a cruelty-free, vegan serum that promotes hair thickness, reduces hair fall, and supports scalp health.

Davines OI Oil (£14.75) is powered by roucou oil to smooth, detangle and moisturize dry and damaged hair without leaving any residue or stickiness.

Augustinus Bader’s Hair Oil (£39) is infused with ‘TFC8 Complex’: a patented ingredient that stimulates your body’s natural renewal processes to leave your hair restored and

I’m always a fan of hair mists: we all love making sure we’ve got some perfume on our skin, so why not do the same for our hair? Spritzing your hair with some fragrance mist—especially if you’re wearing your hair down—is the best way to turn heads when you’re out for an evening on the town. My current rotation includes:

Tom Ford Lost Cherry All Over Body Spray (£75) is a fruity, spicy scent made with Eau de Parfum strength concentration, so you know it’ll stay on all day (and night).

Acqua di Parma Hair Mist Rosa Nobile (£50.76) has a wonderfully feminine, delicate scent, and is enriched with a conditioning agent to keep hair shiny and soft.

Diptyque Eau Rihla Hair Mist (£60) is a spicy, alluring blend of atlas cedar, pink peppercorn and vanilla that delicately veils the hair with its captivating scent.

Byredo Gypsy Water Hair Perfume (£58) is the fragrance house’s recognisable scent of woody pine needle and sandalwood — but for your hair. All you need is a spritz or two for an all-day effect!

Finally, use your shower time to properly care for damaged hair by investing in products that deliver intensive healing and deep moisture. Here are some of my all-time favourites:

Aveda Damage Remedy Trio (£62.90) is a value set that restores sleek, healthy-looking tresses, and includes a shampoo, conditioner and hair repair leave-in treatment.

Moroccanoil Moisture Repair Shampoo & Conditioner Duo (£41.25) is fortified with argan oil and keratin-rich formulas to maintain hair strength and restore elasticity for manageable and nourished hair.

Davines OI Shampoo and Conditioner Duo (£44), similar to its hair oil counterpart, is powered by roucou oil from the Amazon rainforest. It’s suitable for everyday use: leave the conditioner in for a few minutes and comb it through the hair.

Vegamour HYDR-8 Shampoo and Conditioner Kit (£68) uses a vegan alternative to keratin and silicone, Karmatin™, to hydrate your strands for up to 72 hours after use.

Hope you get the chance to try some of these hair favourites, and don’t forget to hit reply and let me know what you think!

Love,

Lorena
